Wasn't the worst place

The workload was not horrible but the pay isnt worth it. Staff is lovely and good to be around, was long hours but again not bad.overall a 3/5.

Good people and good roles

Great opportunities at Andrew's for a range of roles, provided you bring a good attitude and work ethic. Suits a range of job seekers too. Casual, part-time, full-time, customer service, drivers, night shift... plenty of choice!

Great place to work, the best team ever

Productive fun workplace, great working environment, can be very fast-paced. What I like the best about working for Andrews is the Andrews team. Great staff discounts.

Given security during COVID, Catered to my personal circumstances as they chances, encouraged my motivation to progress

Fast paced environment that needs staff who can cope well with change.Yes early starts and late finishes (normal for shift work)Similar to hospitality for peak seasonsOvertime and penalty rates paid for staff not on salary contractsI started as a driver, worked the yards, was promoted to customer service, began supervisor style shifts and was promoted to management.I have been looked after during> my pregnancy nd looking after my son with my partner stuck overseas> with job security during COVID,>as I needed guidance in order to broaden my skills and work my way up in the company. No work place is perfect but I've been here for 3 years and intend to stay many more .

Pros

Team player attitudes sharing work load, Regular customers can have a laugh with, Regular coffee and snacks given, Wide range of tasks so job doesn't get monotonous

Cons

Sometimes long hours/overtime, can be tiring but kind of my fault for saying yes to it

A great workplace to meet interesting people, and make some life long friends.

The workplace culture is fantastic, you wont find another workplace that is more accepting than Andrews. Whilst the days can be somewhat stressful and extremely fast paced its a fun experience!

Cons

Occasional rude customer Sometimes the shifts are long

Great staff, busy workplace, time goes quick due to fast paced environment. Shift work.

Fantastic team to work alongside. Shift work great, finishing or starting at 2pm means you can enjoy the rest of the day. Agreement allows for stacked flat rate of pay for every hour worked so no shift penalties but better being paid more for every hour. Shift work.

Pros

Shifts go fast because its so busy.

Cons

Pay rates not the highest but enjoyable job and people.

Under paid and over worked No penalty rates and as is was busy, we sometimes worked 12 to 14 hr shifts in order to ensure flow of business. We got paid the flat/normal work rate when working on public holidays and during weekends. Slavery

Pros

Met some great colleagues in work mates

Cons

Under paid. Paid normal working hr rates during public holidays and weekends

Excellent customer sercvice

Having worked there for 20 years I had grown with the business since it started and enjoyed working with the staff and the customers. Andrew's Airport Parking taught me a lot.

Terrible hours for the pay rate

Management are very arrogant and whilst they have monthly team meetings nothing ever changes when issues are raised. No penalty rates at all are paid and you are expected to work a 40 hr rotating roster with no allowances given for holiday periods.

Pros

It's a job

Cons

Early starts late finishes..

Good if you don't like sleeping

If you know how to drive many different types of cars and can deal with lots of different types of people all at the same time, then get a job here. Early starts and late finishes make this a tough job mentally, but overall the compensation is worth it.

Pros

Fantastic work environment

Cons

Very early starts and Late Closes

Growth at Andrew's

A typical day at Andrew's is usually a busy one cause of recent shutdown of another adjacent parking lot. I stated as Yard personnel and worked my way up to Conflict resolution manager dealing with cranky customers on an average of 25 to 50 cases a day, which obviously is the hardest part cause I have to explain and make the customer understand; also otherwise have to explain the customer's view to the company. We had a multi-cultured workplace with people from all over the world, which I should say is the best part of working there as I get to meet many at one.

great people that help you through the day

Overall, it's a good job for what it is. Pays well great team that gets along really well, the only reason i'm looking for another is simply because I don't have a life outside of work. Work to live not live to work.

Pros

great people and team

Cons

long hours, bad roster
