Stay away, for the sake of mental health
Production Worker (Former Employee) – Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – 5 June 2019
The leadership and company management at Applied Medical will pit your own work/life balance against yourself, leaving you in an between a rock and a hard place of working overtime to manage to pay bills, or not working overtime to struggle and be seen as a lesser employee from every supervisor or manager within the company.
Aside from that, the company will never fail to sugar coat every situation to coax you into working later hours, and longer days, with promises of catchup checks, and bonuses which never appear annually.
Management is so unprofessionally handled that they make up for it at the expense of the employees, meaning continually changing scheduling for optimized production, being pressured to stay late to meet impossible deadlines for "the company needs" which seems to be the lead driving factor promoting a unbelievably unhealthy and unfair work atmosphere, which makes for an extremely stressful work environment that is plagued with nepotism and cronyism.
Communication is the biggest lacking factor with this company, from management to employees, or even employee to employee, as english is NOT the first language, and not the standard within the workplace, making it difficult to explain or teach anyone properly, thus creating a lower standard for production and quality of work
extremely demanding and stressful atmosphere for the lowest pay you can make in this field, the work is easy but the people leading it are incredibly vain and uncaring towards the ones doing the work.
10 / 10 would not recommend working here.
