Arcare Aged Care
Arcare Aged Care Employee Review
Flexible hours
Enrolled Nurse (Current Employee) - Pimpama QLD - 27 June 2023
I was offered flexible hours when I got into Uni, which was very helpful, and the Manger is very flexible in requesting for time off with my clinical placements. However, morning staff to get favorited and afternoon and night staff seem to be left out in communications, or certain events will suit times of morning staff and not night shift/ afternoon shift
Pros
access to a free leg massage and coffee/tea on site
Cons
short staffed with nil replacements majority of the time

Very unprofessional place to work.
Enrolled Nurse (Former Employee) - Oatlands NSW - 19 March 2022
Only favours Nepalese. Even the handover is delivered in Nepalese. If you raise any concerns to management they will always ignore you. If you stand for your rights then management will find a way to terminate your work.

Same role
worst company to work with
Arcare Glenhaven is worst place to work at. Management is even worst. Since this place is under new management atleast four of the new staff left after attending buddy shifts and 7 of the old staff left including nurses and other nursing home staff in short period of time. you don't feel safe working at Arcare Glenhaven, you are not appreciated at all. co workers and residents are awesome they are the only reason people want to work there. but new management is playing politics in a way that they divide and rule.
Pros
nice staff and residents
Cons
worst ever management and policies

Great experience
Laundry Assistant (Former Employee) - Point Lonsdale VIC - 9 November 2023
Great place to work. I loved it and the residents. Management handled Covid 19 well and put the residents first. I left due to travel distance. Cons would be its a bit sad sometimes. Workload was high but as long as you are organised it got done. Typical day would be to collect washing from units and deliver it freshly laundered.
