Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedIt was difficult to get information about assignments. You need to be specific about the kind of work you want to undertake. You get to meet some cool people and make industrudy connections. Due to the variety of roles you learn new things from each of them.

Terrible experience with Atlas People
Chef (Former Employee) - Pilbara WA - 3 July 2023
Poor Management, I found It difficult to leave a 4 week contract after my time expired they could not get anyone to replace me and told me I would have to stay, refusing to purchase my flight back to Perth! Ultimately I had to pay for my own flights back at $1200. very unpleasant and expensive experience.
Pros
work colleges on site!
Cons
Poor Management

It's a hit or miss with fifo, if you get a good owner or placement , you are isolated, and if you do not have a car and low cell service , if your contract gets deleted u have to pay ur own pay to where ever u live the company won't help you but take money from employer for travel cost but leave you to find your own way so could lead to some massive problems And if they don't like you they won't give you water, food this happened to me and the only food was 60$ 1 ltr water 5.50$ literally not making much better money Also get telstra before fifo work no other carriers will work out there
Pros
Exploring and seeing australia that would would never see
Cons
Isolation and isolated to abuse so they get away with it, mo work to life balance worked 2 weeks no days off ur lucky to get 1 day off

Productive, adventurous and just overall a GREAT company to work for.
Bartender/Kitchen hand (Current Employee) - Australia - 19 August 2022
The communication with atlas is spot on, they are always there when you need them! I have only done two jobs with them so far but both have been so good!! I have got to travel to North Queensland and down South NSW to the snowy Mountains, I can’t recommend them enough, the hours are great, meals are a big money saver and deliciously nutritious, I have met some great people and seen some amazing places can’t wait for my next contract once I’m finished here in the snowy mountains 🙌☺️
Pros
Everything is grat
Cons
Being away from home so long.

Restores balance to life.
Relief Head chef (Current Employee) - Everywhere - 26 January 2022
Great place to work and you get to see lots of Australia while earning top dollar. Some places you go to are hard because obviously there's a reason they need chefs. But the Atlas staff are super responsive and always check in and they're understanding if the contract isn't a good fit. Hard being away from home though.
Pros
Free travel, free food, free accommodation, flexibility with time off, Meet lots of new people.
Cons
Can work some hard places, Sometimes the accommodation is awful, Sometimes there are no shops anywhere nearby, occasionally no phone signal.

Waste of time
Interviewed (Former Employee) - Safety Bay WA - 9 December 2019
Incompetent management, bad judgement calls, lack or no communication between office staff. Don't waste your time applying for any jobs here, you'd will get knocked back.
