Aurecon Group
Aurecon Group Employee Review
This is not the greatest working environment over the long term, unless you have financial goals to meet in a short span of time.
Safety Environment Quality (Former Employee) - Australia - 5 August 2023
Management in my area were more focused and appearing to meet a goal than supporting how that goal was met. There was a fear of disagreeing with the Management and therefore unrealistic goals were unchallenged. I personnally experienced a mental breakdown and prior to that I experienced people whose behaviours were considered undesirable despite the fact that they were experiencing anxiety on the job. Classification of safety data was challenged, raising issues pertaining to safety was at times discouraged. Note this is my personal experience. A lot of people working past their work hours, emails at all times after work hours and weekends, this was not discouraged and I believe it would actually put pressure others.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Poor work culture

Great company culture that provides plenty of opportunity for personal growth
Undergraduate Engineer (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 12 October 2023
Very good company with interesting projects; nice, technically adept people; and a supportive atmosphere. They also appear to have good structure for younger employees to learn and grow.

Very Productive and good place to start your career
Consultant (Former Employee) - Docklands VIC - 11 September 2023
Good place for graduates to get exposure to big projects and industry experts, and explore your career opportunities in different sectors through rotations. But it can be difficult if you would like to develop your expertise and career as planned unless you have a very supportive manager and an active resource manager.

Consulting is hard work but fun with lots of opportunities to develop
Electrical Engineer (Former Employee) - Sydney, Australia - 10 July 2023
Good environment for engineers to develop their design and consulting skills. Fun atmosphere with plenty of bright individuals. Can be challenging at times due to focus on billable hours.
