A good, interesting insight into Qld rail operation & construction.
The job gave me a great introduction to QLD railways & the coal industry in CQ. Also I was able to work in FNQ & 12 months relocation with my family to WA.

Toxic Culture
They have poor culture of not wanting to cross training people and other are expected to carry people that don’t want to learn certain skill sets. They would rather employ new staff for roles than advancing already existing employees. There is a culture of management cover for each other and not properly investigating issues brought to them.

There is a culture of management cover for each other and not properly investigating issues brought to them as I personally experienced.

Great place to work
Overall a great place to work. I only left due to personal reasons regarding a family member, of which relocation was the only option at time, and a transfer wasn't possible. If i had the chance to reconnect with the company i wouldn't hesitate.

Sexist and racist company
Disgracefull company to work for. There is zero recognition those with a good work ethic and loyalty. What gets you ahead is being female , aboriginal , gay or if you are lucky enough all three.
