Typically government departmental, with a lot dynamic and innovation, my last challenge was controlling (financial and project) the 2018 commonwealth games in gold cost

Excellent area for learning how a Government Regulator works
National Manager, Field Operations (Former Employee) - Pyrmont, Sydney - 3 December 2014
A typical day was varied with meetings, emails, staff contact and customer contact.
When working at the ACMA I learnt how to do more with less resources and become very efficient and effective in the way you do business.
The management was very experienced and very structured in their approach whilst the co workers were dedicated, experienced professionals.
The hardest part about the job was making 75% of the staff redundant over a six year period whilst the most enjoyable part was working with the staff in becoming a more efficient and effective section.
Pros
Excellent learning environment
Cons
Lower than normal job security

The ACMA has a very good culture in looking after staff's working environment.
Management and Advancement require a lot of work, very top heavy with many click groups.
