Great Internship
Project Steering Intern (Former Employee) - Oxford - 9 July 2023
I worked for 13 months at BMW Plant Oxford the home of the MINI. I got to see the process of bringing new cars from a conceptual stage, through prototyping and into production in my time there. Working in a factory environment was really exciting.

BMW is a great brand. Stay away from BMW in WA.
Customer Service (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 26 January 2023
BMW as a brand and company is fantastic. The product is exemplary and the fact that they fly you to Melbourne to achieve certification is a rare and fantastic opportunity. However, Auto Classic BMW in Australia is a terrible workplace. Poor management, no hands on training provided (you are left to learn on your own), terrible salary, poor treatment of staff (bullying/sexism/verbal harassment/racism) and there is absolutely no work life balance at all. Nothing positive or motivating is said to you but rather constant mistreatment and negative feedback. Every department is constantly losing staff for the same reasons, and nothing is done in regards.
Pros
Worldwide opportunities, interstate training.
Cons
Long hours, no work life balance, poor pay, management, bullying.

Terrible place to work, No management competency
Senior Technician / Technicial (Current Employee) - Gold Coast QLD - 28 November 2019
Worst place I have ever worked. The workshop controller is a muppet. No management skills at all. Workshop is bismal. No communication. Not even a HR department. I strongly recommend not working here!

Not sure about this Brand
Operator (Current Employee) - Mulgrave VIC - 11 August 2019
No structure
It is easy to identify that the way to work your way through the business is to get to know them like people and if you don’t click with them then you don’t have a chance of progression, there is no career progression in this company, Different roles are available however you are selected based on favouritism. This business does not live up to the Brands Name.
Cons
No career progression, they don’t know how to make change effective in a timely manner.

Absolute dissapointment!
Manager (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 14 July 2019
worked here over 4 years as contractor and was let go without a word from BMW management. They should be ashamed of themselves. The first time i was treated with such disrespect. No people management skills, useless HR. Stay away from this HO!
If it was possible I would not give them one star.
Pros
New car every couple of months.
Cons
No appreciation.

Parts & Accessories Coordinator (Former Employee) - Mulgrave VIC - 30 August 2018
If you are looking for a company with room to move then BMW Group is for you. You can move between departments and even countries, with brands MINI, BMW, BMW Motorrad and Rolls Royce you will have plenty of opportunities to be able to do this.
Pros

Good learning Experience.
Apprentice light vehicle mechanic (Former Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 12 August 2018
Management sucked, training was awesome, pay was great along with benefits to employees.
Don't expect an easy job though, you will be worked to the bone with little to no regard to you.

Customer Service (Former Employee) - Mulgrave VIC - 27 May 2018
Culture is poor, no job security, huge expectation from management to do more for less, terrible wages with no benefits, HR department dont care about people. Dont even consider a job with BMW Financial Services, you'll regret it.

corporate and competitive
Sales Consultant (Former Employee) - windhooek - 13 December 2017
high standard work place with a competitive industry due to the huge sales consultants battle to set the best sales target at the end of the day with a luxury class vehicle more for the higher class man and the more difficult client base type due to the price class and style.
Pros
free lunch
Cons
small commitions

Very ambiguous working culture
Customer Interaction Centre Team Leader (Former Employee) - Mulgrave VIC - 17 September 2017
The company currently has 40 positions that needs to be back filled with the HR playing a major role in providing inconsistent information to potential and new candidates.
The 'politics' in the company is something that is dreadful and unavoidable. It is a nightmare of an organisation to be working with.
