Meet Rachel - Registered Psychiatric Nurse

“From my graduate year in 2016 to my primary role as ANUM role at the Swanston centre, Barwon Health MHDAS has supported my career development in many ways. I have had the opportunity to act in the RPN4 Clinical Nurse Specialist and RPN5 Nurse Unit Manager positions. Furthermore, I have been supported to train as an ECT Psychiatric Nurse, and am currently on a 6 month secondment with MHDAS Education as a RPN4 Psychiatric Nurse Educator. This was only ever made possible because Barwon Health MHDAS fosters an environment that seeks to develop the potential in its employees. This is what I love about Barwon Health MHDAS, there are so many opportunities within the service that you can involve yourself in to continue your personal growth and self-development as a clinician.
