Job Culture
The organisational culture is extremely poor
members of upper and senior management shouldn't of been in those positions of power. Staff continually rating out each other out to make themselves look better in the eyes of upper management. Supervisors strong armed into not signing staff off to protect their own jobs. Staff scared to speak up regarding bullying in the workplace.

working with youth with complex needs, ensuring a safe and and livable enviroment for them.
Working 3 years at berry Street has taught me how my responses towards my clients can make a difference, my body language, my tone of voice, learning when to back off or to confront a client in a time of crises, These years have seen highs and lows for my clients. I've engaged in the teaching of every day living skills, like personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, banking and every day chores. I've ran client meetings and also been involved in care team meetings to witch includes members from other community sectors. At all the units I've worked at I've been part of a team, we all worked together to provide the best care for our clients.
Pros
*working with youth * being part of a team *
Cons
long hours, stand up shifts, not being able to do enough for my clients.
