Ok for first job

Retail Assistant (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 6 September 2023

Its been awhile since I have worked there but it was ok for a first job. But wouldnt work there if you need guaranteed hours, like most retail they mostly employ on casual contracts.

Very toxic environment, wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here. Management is toxic and higher power does nothing about it. Most of the time you’re folding and tidying up.

Can be boring at times and the store is always quiet and casuals don’t get much shifts when it’s not a busy period and sometimes managers micromanage but otherwise made some really good friends there.

Awesome people to work with. Very nice and homely environment. Diverse people and very fun to work with. Everyday was enjoyable. Good pay and awesome experience
