Come and meet some of our current and past students talking about their Maintenance Associate Traineeship experience with BHP. Our maintenance teams are essential in keeping all of our equipment such as our trucks and conveyors working effectively on our sites.
BHP runs our Maintenance Associate Traineeship program at our purpose built FutureFit Academies in both Perth, WA and Mackay, QLD. Over the 12 month training program you’ll complete specific modules to a Certificate II level to equip you to be trained, competent and authorised to perform a range of preventative maintenance tasks as a Maintenance Associate.

Olympic Dam is located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide in South Australia. It’s made up of underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal. It is located on the traditional lands of the Kokatha, Dieri, and Arabana people.
