a typical retail job

Quite a physical job, expect to be moving around, lifting boxes, etc. Some of the older staff can be a little unfriendly/unhelpful towards newer members, work hard or avoid them and you'll be fine, plus senior staff and management are fine. Worst part of the job is dealing with rude/difficult customers, which you get a lot in the city especially, but that comes with any retail job.
