Poor work environment

No work life balance, salary was different for each manager and bad talking was horrible I was crying and upset everyday going to work it honestly started my anxiety and depression

Good casual job, work over 40 hour weeks during events like easter, christmas and eofy. They cut hours, however and management definitely have favourites. Good for just out of school or sick of the 9-5 office job, if you want flexibility, Big W is great. You make great friends and get a good experience with customers. Good and bad. Great extra money. Understanding when you need leave or have to change availabilities.

Management have favourites, some managers can’t handle stress and get cranky with everyone.

Managers expect so much from the staff. Not enough staff members every day and pay is very low for part time. So much work not enough staff to get the work done.

Started when I was 14 and 9 months and only got casual shifts. Got a permanent part time contract when I was 20 which helped me develop many social skills and improve my work ethics.

It's fun place to work but when require you will be under the pressure

When you start the work the first thing you do is walking the store and if you identify a problem you`ll fix it straight away and if you need help you'll seek one, People are always willing to help you. there is team work involved and everything happens with short and longs plans.
