Worked a long time here and found myself liking the job for its team members and loyal customers that love the coffee and service from Bonbons Bakery. However the current area manager is very bad she only rosters you on base on favouritism and age. If you're cheap you'll get weekend shifts so that it favours her budget and you get more hours if she likes you. Most of the time your hard work goes unnoticed because she just finds things to criticize and doesn't really give a f about anything else besides making sales and taking all the credit for it. She always insists on "take on any issues with her to her and she will be understanding" but when she does receive equal treatment and fair criticisms for not keeping the store clean when she works she takes it personally and write a list of things trying to attack us on how bad we work even though it has nothing to do with her uncleaniness and laziness? She also does not take sick leaves well either most of the time, she expects you to go to work dying from sickness if you can't find anyone to cover your shift. Main reason why I left was because of her really poor management in managing her workers. She may have done an exceptional job at bringing up sales but her relationship with all of her workers from every store she's managed is really bad and hence would not recommend working there at all. Well more if you work for Doncaster, Fountain Gate and Southland so far.
Would not recommend going through this for anyone. Even though the CEO, Owner and his wife Head Manager are awesome! This area manager really does make it hard formore... all of us. Good riddance.less
