You will spend months jumping through hoops with no promise of stability.
Medicare sales and enrollment specialist (Former Employee) - Tucson, AZ - 8 December 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis is a company with constant turnover and a heavy emphasis on sales, despite what they may tell you during the hiring process. I started in a class of 36 or so people, half that many finished training. After another month about a dozen were left. The day after busy season ends, anyone not selected to "graduate" to UHC proper will be layed off immediately with no warning, based mostly off of raw sales numbers. Because they don't expect 90% of hires to stick around, this job offers no meaningful benefits, career opportunities, stability etc. It's basically a paid internship to try and eventually get a job at a different company if you excel. If you take this role, go in with your eyes open.

The real BroadPath
Customer Support Services (Current Employee) - Remote - 29 November 2023
A typical day consist of scheduling assessments. The management is great. The hardest part of the job is the fact that you sometimes sit 15 to 20 minutes between calls and they do not have earlier shifts. They do not pay for holidays they give you the holiday off mandatory but then in order to get your 40 hours you have to work that Saturday for the holiday that they gave you off. The pay is not enough for the job that is did. The most enjoyable part of the job are the coworkers and supervisors because they work with you as a team and show praise for the work that you do. I have learned how to schedule appointments and to be more patient.
Pros
Sundays off
Cons
Cannot get insurance until you have been at the job a year and you’re not guaranteed your position, because it is contract.

Easy job
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 27 November 2023
I was an employee from Nov 2019 to Oct of this year. The job itself was very easy, training was simple they teach you the basics but you are given the tools needed to handle numerous types of calls. The only thing I really disliked was being on camera ALL DAY EVERY DAY and the fact that they didn’t push a little harder for their more seasoned reps to remain on a project. If give the opportunity to regain employment I definitely would take it.

Remote Job
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - 13 November 2023
Things change a lot, supervisors and leadership change constantly, and employees leave often. We’re quite short staffed and will work a shift alone. There’s support from time to time.

Fun Place TOWoek
Provider Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 6 November 2023
Fun place to work. Management easy to talk to. The training is way too long and it takes a while to catch on to the job even though you have to take calls and you’re not really prepared

only accept a position if you’re desperate
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - 31 October 2023
there’s a lot of cons about working here: constantly being on camera, leadership taking favorites, having to train yourself when they throw you on calls pros: wfh/ weekly pay

Requires Camera on you at all times
Felt strange to be on camera the whole work day, but continuous access to team leaders for help. Made $14/hr 5 years ago. Paid for insurance license with paid training and possible sales incentives.

What is the best part of working at the company? Meeting nice people who you might grow a friendship with. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Everything about the company. The turnover rate is extremely high and the stress level is ridiculous! What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Work from home but it’s still stressful and management is none caring. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Stressful and pay rate sucks!

This place is okay. I worked as a temp but they never told us when we were going to get let go. I feel like that was very unprofessional. They just told us to work hard

20% worth it!
Member Service Representative - W@H (Former Employee) - Work from Home - 4 October 2023
Job is fairly simple, except you work with a lot of people who either don't know what they are doing or don't care to do the job correctly. You have several repeat callers, from misinformation given. Management is helpful at times, but changes often. I can honestly say in 4 years I had at least 10 different team leads. The SME's never want to assist in supervisor calls and will ignore you if they do not know the answer to your question, and it often times results in long hold times or callers disconnecting and having to call back. There is not such thing as PTO. You have to work 1000 hours to earn a measly 40 hrs of "paid time", which will only be paid out in a single check. When I was finally given my time I was advised to take the entire week off, so you don't feel cheated out of your "PTO". Your fellow teammates will be the most enjoyable part of the job if you are a social person, as they communicate via chat throughout the day. I personally was not a fan, but others enjoy that. The work from home aspect is always a plus, but there is literally little to no room for advancement. No pay raises. Shifts are given at random, no matter what you advise your availability is, and will only be switched if someone with an earlier shift is willing to trade. There are no shift bids, so often times newer employees will come in and get a better shift, rather than allowing employees with seniority to get those times and allot later shifts to new employees. Weekly pay is a plus, and even with getting paid the maximum pay rate, I feel the pay could have been better. Benefits are offered -
Pros
weekly pay, work from home, friendly staff
Cons
no room for advancement, no PTO/sick days, frequent changes in management, benefits are subpar and not worth the money, no raises, no shift bids, job security not promised

Loved the job, not the company
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Wyoming - 21 September 2023
Not disability friendly , management needs help, communication between upper and lower management lacking sorely. I did love the work and most of the people I trained with, training is extensive and very thorough. Trainers were amazing, patient and kind. I learned a ton of useful information about the job and rules and regulations. Just didn't fit me personally as I have many medical issues that hindered my ability to do the job
