Don't do it

I worked for bupa as my first nursing job and I would not recommend it to anyone.You are treated as a thing not a person you are belittled by management and the time management for residents is a joke can't even take 5 minutes to have a cup of tea because u need to attend to another resident.It's a depressing hole u don't want to go into.

Sales and service consultant in a branch.Was there for 15 years.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Micro management. Bupa expectations. Lost 80% of well trained staff. Including branch manager and area manager.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Micro managed. Having to track every minute of the day. Sales targets are getting harder to achieve.Closure of many branches. Big turn over of staff. Stressful

What is the best part of working at the company?The best part was the beautiful elderly people !! That was the only good thing What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not enough staff and lazy staff who let others do all the hard work .. very disappointing!!!!What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Manager was lovely!! but when she's not there the buliies take over the late shift and night shift lazy staff who were quite happy to to sit and watch tv while i care for all of the clients What is a typical day like for you at the company?I resigned not my problem anymore

There’s a lot worse out there and Bupa one of the better companies to work for

What is the best part of working at the company?The culture - great team leaders and a company who understands flexibility What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Kpi’s- but this is a stress factor in all contact centres and I feel Bupa manages feedback well What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Supportive , open to discussion What is a typical day like for you at the company?High volume of calls , acceptable breaks

Hard to work with

I have worked for Bupa Dental before but nowadays is terrible. Staff hired are really bad also dentists are not that great. It is like a business, we need to save money, cut waste and make high profit which is impossible with these low standards of infrastructure and unprepared staff. The pay is ok only if you are casual.

Residents were great which made doing the shifts tolerable

What is the best part of working at the company?There were no best parts working at bupa. What made it tolerable was the staff . Work Culture-very friendly and approachable

There is complete work and life balance. The work culture in the company encourages the employees to feel empowered and positive. There are so many ways you can up-skill and enhance your knowledge through Bupa learn academy.Employee wellbeing is their top priority and they have all the resources in place which can provide great support for physical and mental health.

The Bupa is not a best place to work. It provides average salary but job is demanding. It provides discount on health insurance to the staff members .

Bupa is overall a good organization to work with. Salary is good and they provide subsidy for health insurance to their staff including family. Management is also good.

It's fun team but lots of pressure and everyone has to be multitasking. Everyone so deadly tired doing calls, applications, emails and meetings all together. The pay is nots atisfying either
