Don't do it
AIN (Assistant in Nursing) (Former Employee) - Bateau Bay NSW - 28 November 2023
I worked for bupa as my first nursing job and I would not recommend it to anyone. You are treated as a thing not a person you are belittled by management and the time management for residents is a joke can't even take 5 minutes to have a cup of tea because u need to attend to another resident. It's a depressing hole u don't want to go into.
Pros
Residents are beautiful
Cons
Management and training isn't great

Jobs at Bupa
If you value your physical, mental and emotional health. Don't work for Bupa.
Sales and Service Consultant (Former Employee) - Gold Coast QLD - 26 November 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Customer Value Specialist. Sales and service consultant in a branch. Was there for 15 years. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Micro management. Bupa expectations. Lost 80% of well trained staff. Including branch manager and area manager. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Micro managed. Having to track every minute of the day. Sales targets are getting harder to achieve. Closure of many branches. Big turn over of staff. Especially in the call centre. They didn't value staff and they lost so many long term staff with good knowledge of the business. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Every minute of your day was monitored

Hard to work with
Dental Assistant (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 29 September 2023
I have worked for Bupa Dental before but nowadays is terrible. Staff hired are really bad also dentists are not that great. It is like a business, we need to save money, cut waste and make high profit which is impossible with these low standards of infrastructure and unprepared staff. The pay is ok only if you are casual.
