Get rid of 90% of store managers and area managers who arnt human that expect staff to have no life like them.

Wages - wages were OK 5 years ago. Since then the Union / Management have negotiated away all penalty rates, apart from Sundays 1.5 of base wage & Public Holidays. Their hasn't been a wage increase for over 2 years. They pressure you into taking small part time contracts to save paying the 20% casual loading.

Convincing the customers that you are happy by smiling, even if you aren't happy, but this is retail in general as no one wants to hear you say how bad your day was.
Stacking shelves with Alcohol, serving customers, listening to the manager to try to set jobs out on the day, receiving big pellets of boxes and moving them into the shop. Ticking off sheets to make sure everything has come in on the load. Cleaning up each night and completing paperwork by counting money in the till.

The company culture is great as they come down to try and help you from head office a lot.
Although they always say that we, as the "Backbone" of the company, have great ideas and should share them to help the business. This is wrong, I have had many ideas and they have never tried to contact me back or give me any appreciation for me coming up with them.
