Queensland health standards and guidelines are the best in regards to better patient outcomes.

    Exhausting and undervalued
Understaffed, training has to be done at home as educator or CF (if your watd is lucky enoigh to have one) are too busy. Overtime has to be predicted by half way through shift or not applied! What a joke, how can you forsee a MET Call! Bullying by management when you turn down double shifts! Upper management are completely out of touch with staff. Around Cairns Hospital people dont matter!

Lots of chances for career development and learning
Enjoy working here, fast paced but great learning opportunities. Sometimes short staffed, leading to overtime and fatigue. Fellow staff members very supportive.

Toxic Bullying culture and gossiping within management over the whole hhs. Not inclusive, no support for disability.
The hours and acuity of workload, not enough time off call for the WTE. Burnt out by work overload then blamed - but also gossiped about across the whole hhs. Confidentiality breeches about staff members health issues. Temporary contract extended on going with no permanent job security. Lack of empathy from managers. No accommodations were made for my disability- and I was blamed for health flare...
