Do not expect replies from coordinators this year. Pays are often delayed. One set pay rate for all. Not even an email to say merry Christmas thanks for the great job you support workers do for Camcan

Pros

Some great members

Cons

Pay not scaled to experience. No recognition from higher up of the hard work we do

Great Company to work for

Cam Can has been a good Organisation to work for. I really enjoyed my time there, however, have chosen to leave to relocate over east with family. I would recommend them

Training

Cam Can

..Best company I've worked for, up to date training provided and fantastic support from coordinators. .. Great working cture and always looked after, your mental health is just as important to them as your physical health.

Value added Induction

I haven't been there long but the management are really supportive and are willing to give you training to help boost your confidence. They do buddy shift you a couple of times before you are set on your own. All training is paid for by the company. They also give you an added Induction called, 'Values Training' this is a team building exercise, this I do find quite unique from other companies I have worked for. The hardest part of the job is getting flow with a new routine as I am new to the job, there are many different aspects to the job to remember. The most enjoyable part of the job is when I know the routine and I settle in with the Cam Can Member getting a flow on the routine.

good money, vulnerable job

was never given the support necessary ignored and never given more shifts once I complained about a situation was blackmailed by clients and never had the support and back up of management they left you to your own devices and was not bothered about you only bothered bout covering the shifts no proper policies and procedures loved the job but not the harassment I had to put up with

Pros

Cons

you are very vulnerable

great team to be apart of

the most enjoyable part is working with 'family' everyday. typical day is helping the family get the client up and out of bed and ready for what the day brings. the hardest part is losing the client

Comfortable and soothing workplace environment

Offers casual work time which can be adapted by students. Official documents are included which makes this job trustworthy. The culture there is friendly and helpful in times of need.

Pros
