Everyone is nice here at Canva. People are welcoming in my team. Many social activities. Remote work friendly. The only con is the meeting schedules are heavy.

Amazing learning place for entry-level employees

Frontend Software Engineer Intern (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 29 July 2022

For lower level software engineers, this is the best place for learning since everyone is so fun, enthusiastic, and really, really supportive.You bring lots of value and grow up a lot as a human. You feel happier after you go in for a day of work.If you love learning and are just starting out as a software engineer, this is the best place to be.

Pros

Free food, gym, really really good friends and culture

Cons

I think the senior level management sector is ignored, but they're the best people in the world and deserve better than stress everyday and overwork

it was fine, i guess, i worked hard, management were fine as well, not many opportunities for upward mobility, decent pay but could be better for time and effort

a company with nice people

- a rapidly growing company - nice CEO - good public image - personal development for the senior developer group is largely ignored - hiring, recruiting and staffing is disjointed
