Capital Transport
Capital Transport Employee Review
Doesn’t worth all the effort
Courier Driver (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 2 March 2023
Honestly.. as a sub-contractor I was quite excited to work as a courier. Work independently was always the mainly reason to assume the role. You will be responsible to assume the costs of everything with no support whatsoever. Fuel, maintenance, insurance etc…you will be working long hours dealing with peak traffic all week long... and once you finally get to see your payslip IT’S LIKE HAVING A BUCKET OF COLD WATER splashed over your head. Poor payment mate, poor payment. To earn maaaaaximum $800 week be ready to be at least 10 hours behind the wheel MONDAY TO FRIDAY STARTING AT 7. It’s 10 hours with your car running and also be ready to spend a good deal in fuel because of that. I got a feeling I was like paying to work. No money left. They won’t be honest at the interview.
Pros
Work alone
Cons
Poor payment long hours

Great place to work
Courier Driver (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 6 July 2022
I found Captial transport to be a good company to work for. They’re always actively looking for jobs close to where you are and allocating them fairly. Sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself to smaller paying jobs but it usually works out in your favour eventually. As long as you’re consistent and logical, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts.

Don’t do it
Courier Driver (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 6 April 2022
Stressful job, minimum 11 hour days no matter what they say. Don’t get paid incentive every day. They charge you $1.5when they call you $60 a week. Asked to be paid daily like they advertised they didn’t. Charge you an admin fee to get paid around $11 a day. They say they will send you on a delivery on the way home that never happens, they say you will drive 220km a day it’s more like 350km and sometimes a lot more. If you have a DR appointment they will call you up and question you, then lecture you about doing it outside of operating hours but you work 7am-6pm if not later so it’s not possible. The operators will almost beg and start manipulating you to get you to accept a job because “they are really busy” or “it’s only 4:00pm” but they want to send you 175km away from home in peak hour traffic . They have zero care for their drivers they only care about making money. Beware they seem really nice at the start really friendly then they turn on you. I’ve worked there for 3 weeks and I am actively looking for other work. If you have any other options take that instead, the operators are snarky and speak down to the drivers.
Pros
No staff interactions
Cons
Long hours, costs, pay incentives

Capital Transport in Perth is an excellent place to work.
Sub Contractor (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 12 July 2022
As a sub contractor courier driver there is lots of work if you want it. The more you put in the more you are rewarded by way of income, bonuses, competition prizes, giveaways and more. The office staff are all exceptionally nice and supportive and always there to help and encourage you. If you're looking to work in a Company that encourages growth and understands the work/life balance then Capital Transport Group Perth is where you'll find that.
Pros
Always work available IF you want it. Supportive staff
Cons
Sometimes there is that much more available that it can be long hours. But that's a choice.
