Bro-club mentality with low levels of professionalism
When COVID first hit and we were able to work from home, in our first teams meeting the regional manager said "You know, 40 hours is the minimum in your contract, now that you don't have to commute there's an extra couple of hours you can spend logged in that won't actually impact you". No work-life balance
People are being looked as a dollar. No enough salary, no life! Just working working working. Always tight time, always time budget. They do not consider engineer’s fatigue! They win projects with low pricing and then put pressure on engineers to deliver on time and on budget.

I did my best but I guess my best was not good enough
Most of the surveyors were nice. There are a few bad apples, divas and tyrants but that is given with such a large organisation. Did not learn much as a Survey Field Assistant. Basically a Sherpa/mule for carrying equipment. Only job other than that was setting-up prisms with tripod and standing around. No office computations or even touching the 12D software.
