Great company but if you are not part of the "in crowd" don't expect to ever have your annual leave approved.

Also absolutely no union and any talk of it is stamped out.


If employed part time don't ever expect a full time opportunity because its never going to happen.

My role was to develop and implement program's to enhance capability that enabled the delivery of the commercial strategy.

Role focused on designing, building, deploying and embedding blended learning programs to increase core competencies. (2 Capability Managers)


Strong alignment to the Learning and Development as well as Sales and Marketing teams


Required constant Stakeholder Management, biggest challenge was transforming learning from face to face to blended learning opportunities under the guidance of 70/20/10 principles


We had a leadership team that was fully committed to people development and fully supported the leader led learning principle, this provided a platform for developing individuals skill sets and also embedding behavioural change


Strong focus on coaching to embed leanings


Deploying programs across a national platform was the most rewarding part of the role. Great opportunity to use my sales experience and to work with people at all levels of the organisation. Seeing people take the leanings back into the real world was also very rewarding.


In summary, CUB has a great people development culture, built on leader led and coaching principles, strong leadership that fully supports and drives capability that enables change, transformation and growth. (both individual and organisation)
