Overall Good Place to Work
Senior Administration Co-ordinator (Current Employee) - Central Coast NSW - 27 October 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedTypically extremely busy job, very varied and multitasking skills are a must. Hardest part of the job is time management never enough hours in the day. Most enjoyable part is speaking with the residents and the family members and having a laugh with the staff. Always compulsory training happening but mostly surprisingly enlightening and enjoyable. Some tediously repetitious of course. Management are very kind and fair to all. Best Benefit is the salary sacrifice tax concessions. Happy to recommend anyone to come work here.
Pros
Tax breaks
Cons

Starting with a smile laughter and happy to see staff residents. Hardest is when someone isn't well. I love seeing the residents making them smile laugh. We have a range of different cultures working with us, which I love and are very open to learning from other cultures, I find this fascinating and interesting

Bitter-sweet workplace.
Personal Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Wentworth Falls NSW - 25 October 2023
Terrific co-workers, however, at times, the work culture could be toxic. Staff shortages, under resourcing & management issues may account for this.

Personal Carer (Current Employee) - Darlinghurst NSW - 23 November 2022
They prefer their own people over other staff. They will cut your shifts without your knowledge and give it to the people they know even if they are new. And you can’t argue or your shifts will be deducted.

Registered Nurse (Full Time) (Current Employee) - NSW - 15 May 2022
What makes CHL different from others is the level of support to staff. Everyone that I met when I first joined made sure that I am set up to succeed in my role. This made a huge difference when I first started as I felt that there were a lot of supportive staff and managers wanting to contribute to the organisation’s mission and vision.
Pros

Team Leader (Current Employee) - Riverina Murray - 4 May 2022
There is a genuine spirit of care towards our clients and amongst each other and a dedication to our mission of 'Care runs Deep'. Everyone I work with, works as a whole team ensuring our mission and commitment to excellence is a constant. Whatever role is held in Catholic Healthcare we are all provided with ongoing learning and education which is encouraged and supported, everyone is kept up to date and compliant in their role within the organisation. For me, everyday is a new day - brought with a new challenge but always ends with a rewarding experience.
