charcoal chicken restaurant gave me many new skills such as waitressing dealing with food in the kitchen, a day filled with new faces is surely fun, yet tiring as there are many responsibilities. i learnt time management as well as skills such as dealing with tough customers and waitressing which is something new, hardest part of the job would probably be ensuring every table is satisfied as it is a big restaurant and more than waiter is needed. i loved working there as i had great company along with me
the best family owned business ive ever worked for. I started working as a kitchen hand and worked my self up to managing the kitchen. it was a friendly environment learnt all my food process and handiling at charcoal chicken they had great training team as well
It was a great environment which allowed me to grow within the business and also within myself. I learnt more with every shift, for example to Stockdale and order stock when needed, close of shop and end of days takings along with banking.
Fish and Chip (Former Employee) – New South Wales – 17 December 2017
Didn't enjoy this job at all. I was work long hours, by myself. There was no friendly face. But for a first job, it was good. It showed me how to get things done and even though you don't enjoy it you still have to complete it with the best of your ability
Worker (Current Employee) – South Morang VIC – 12 December 2017
It is very easy to learn how to make the food and serve costumers.. The food is fresh and healthy. The manager is very kind and patient. She values how the workers are feeling and listens to what they have to say.
Boss trains you there, so he passes all the experience onto you, it's a simple job, easy to learn and mistakes are forgivable. Downsides are, there's no option for any salary raises, the job is boring, there's not much to do.
I was working at Pennant Hills Charcoal Chicken for roughly 3 months, through that time I learnt and experienced the following: - Concise amount of pay on time - Teamwork - Cleaning - Money Handling - Free food on lunch breaks
At Charcoal Chicken being the first job i had i learnt a few things in life i will always need to remember in up coming jobs such as learning how to work with a register, working with customers, handling money. The work place was very enjoyable with such friendly staff, however the managers where not very organised with shift dates and times.
-I`ve learned to pack food as well as cook them and be kind to customers -work politely and calm -work at the cashier for the first time hardest part of the job was being able to keep track of where each food goes

This was my first job where i was mainly a kitchen hand and wash all of the dishes and also take meals out to customers. I learnt simple waitress skills and how to present myself and react in rushed conditions.
Working for Charcoal Chicken was fun and gave me a very enthusiastic attitude. I liked all parts of my job which included preparing food, working a register and cleaning dishes and mopping the shop floor.
Overall I would loved working for Charcoal Chicken because of the great atmosphere and attitude everyone had that worked there.
I could make my own lunch and got to bring home any food that was not sold.
The phone was bad quality so phone orders took a while.
