Workplace culture went downhill, below average pay compared to Industry

Workplace culture was great when I joined pre Covid however steadily declined over the years. There was a general unwritten consensus that overworking/underpaying was OK because we were ranked the #1 P&C insurer in the sector and therefore what we were learning and having Chubb on the resume was enough. Negative company culture

The culture of the company was negative and toxic with low employee morale. A bureacratic management with promotion based on favouritism. Management were only interested in their own pay packets rather than the wellbeing of their employees. A lack of an inclusive culture or diversity in the hiring of staff.

Toxic culture full of politics

The culture of the company was toxic and management were only interested in getting themselves ahead and didn't value employees. Long hours with no opportunities for advancement reserved only for those who were manager favourites and full of politics. High turnover which is just the way management liked it as it kept them in their jobs.
