Toxic. Management turn a blind eye to supervisors bullying team members. There is a general atmosphere of casual fun but it is underscored by gossip and favouritism by inexperienced and unqualified supervisors.

Answered

The interview is very fast and easy...

Answered

They ask for some fun facts about you - and the more unique answers you give the better. They also ask about your work experience and a word you would use to describe yourself or how your friends would describe you.

Answered

Reasons would be because it's too far from where I live or because I can't handle the long hours standing anymore.

Completed the online stage and then got emailed that my application was successful. Had my interview in the back room of the shop. About 2 other people were there in that session. You're given a form to fill out about your availability, with a big page long extended response on your best customer experience and how you could use that experience and apply it yourself when working at city beach. Interview was pretty casual, with questions like "why do you want to work at city beach" and "how would your friends describe you". it only lasted a few minutes which was good. you then have to wait for an email saying whether you were successful or not. after you get that email you have to do all these online lessons, and then after that you dont really hear from them for ages but eventually you get a text or phone call confirming your shifts.

Upper management/HR to take their duty of care for their employees more seriously. Resolve issues fairly instead of sweeping them under the rug. Treat team members with respect.

Honestly just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. They have no policy on what you wear as long as it’s not too revealing. Show your personality and wear something that makes you feel confident.

After you accept the online job submission, they will call you a few days before your first shift. I had to wait about 2 weeks before they called so don’t panic if they don’t straight away. Otherwise you can go in store and check the roster that is posted on the wall out the back. It’s a fortnightly roster so you get a good idea of the shifts coming up. However be prepared for them to call you up with extra shifts

I first got an email saying I was unsuccessful then at a later date I was successful, very confusing.
