Productive and fun

Its a fairly straight forward job that is fun at times but not always. Great place for a young worker looking to develop retail skills. Hours are very flexible and management is generally good.

Very good

Very good pay and really good workplace it has been very good and would recommend to beyond. Coles is way better than Woolworths as the staff are way more friendly and kind.

Good for high schoolers, not too decent otherwise

The experience honestly varies with management, with frequent rotations it just depends on how lucky you are. You can't get along with everyone. Good entry level job for casual workers with 0 experience. Literally 0. The standard isn't that high at some stores...

Pray for good work colleagues and managers

Work conditions are heavily dependant on who your department manager and store manager is. Pay is average at best, especially if you're a teen as you won't get paid the full wage until you're in your 20s (was like this when I worked there not sure if it still is). It is an ok place to work and meet new people but the job is repetitive, good for high school and uni students. The manager is nice but can be harsh sometimes depending on how you feel
