it was just a part-yime job. My main activity was working in junior high school so it was quite relax working at a community centre
English Language Teacher (Former Employee) - Noisy-le-Grand, Paris region - 29 August 2020
I would arrive in the evening around 7 pm aat the community centre and head straight tothe office. I would then start printing off resource material for my students; Then I would go to the classroom to set up my equipment (computer, audio resources to train my students'hearing) and wait for the arrival of my students. Then I would do the roll-call and actually start the lesson. I would ask the students to tell me about their day at work and then we would actually start the diferent activities that I had prepared for the evening class
Pros
relax atmosphere in the classroom, no pressure at all on the part of hierarchy
Cons
there were no cons

It was a very good experience I’ve learnt all sorts to be on time to work hard under pressure
I would recommend it to people that are interested in customer and computer work and helping elder people and also people that don’t speak English like you

Fun place to teach kids!
Cooking Instructor and Youth night Supervisor (Former Employee) - Kitchener, ON - 6 January 2020
It's a great place to work if you want to guide and influence children and kids. I learned a lot about communication and patience and acceptance. I learned how to be a leader and felt fulfilled at the end of my day. I found management a little difficult to work with sometimes but the regular employees made up for that. All in all I would work there again.

Challenging and engaging workplace
Data Analyst (Current Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 10 November 2019
A typical day at this job for me was to analyze documents such as spreadsheets, databases and surveys to determine the best course of action. I learned lots of things such as teamwork, communication and time management. The management at this job were helpful and easy-going. Workplace culture was fairly laid-back and exciting as they were lots of activities to do during breaks such table tennis, basketball and more. The most enjoyable part of this job for me was challenging it was as it forced me to use my problem solving skills to overcome obstacles and made me think outside the box.

Hall hire for weddings/anniversary/birthday/christenings
Bar Manager/Supervisor (Former Employee) - Enfield, Greater London - 8 January 2019
Meet customer at hall go through hire agreement. make sure hall is clean and in decent order take the decorations...
Stock take enough alcohol for the event also make sure float is sufficient if customers have hired the bar......
Most of the bar staff are local residents make sure they have given me correct details regarding PAYE.
A quick use of the til, ice maker & dishwasher..
Working with adults and alcohol bar staff have to remain professional and try not to drink with the customers...
As the hardest part is calling :LAST ORDERS: Because hopefully everyone has had a great evening.. And no-one wants to leave quietly is then down to me to enforce the agreement made with the customer....
The most exciting part of the event is the WOW factor when the customer sees the decorations they have left for to us to get the hall ready..
Pros
No two days were the same
Cons
Long out of office hours
