Terrible company to work for. They don’t give a toss about their staff. Management are very unprofessional, very poor occupational health and safety procedures. Staff are not given information about new clients and turn up with no knowledge of health problems or behavioural issues. It all seems to be about getting as many clients as they can, with no concern or care for staff

Stressful Environment

The disability clients are amazing. Some ( and only some) staff are friendly, others are very territorial, gossip and whinge about each other. There is better places to work, management are all horrific. A lot of agency staff required in this place because they can’t keep their own staff. Culture of this place is dobbing in each other on a daily basis and hand balling blame from one to another. Avoid is my advice

rather have the corona virus

If you need care from a provider run like crazy from this one! Incompetent senior staff who presume they are doctors and have such ridiculous ideas its a mystery as to how they got to be RN managers etc. If you want to place your staff and clients at risk this is the place for you. Just a bunch of over paid bobble heads in management and baa baa sheep in tow,

productive and fast paced workplace

friendly staff with up beat and outgoing personalities. A collaborative workplace with strong team work. overall a great place to work and learn about the industry.

Bad management

A very toxic work environment beautiful field and floor workers but management are horrible. All very good at delegating. Too many chiefs not enough workers.

wouldn't recommend

I worked there as a student and the manager is very rude, their client notes havn't been updated in over two year which they are supposed to be updated and reviewed atleast every 6 months. The workers are extremely nice often understaffed due to the manager, the manager is extremely rude to the students and workers therefore not setting a nice vibe for everyone including the clients.

Good environment to work in.

Clientele were good to work with. Fellow employees were great to work with. Skills were updated and management were consistent in providing a thorough service to clientele.

Fun place to work. Enjoy the activities and making the client happy.

Transport the client to the club. Assist with morning tea. Conduct the activity assigned to me and ensure that I make it as enjoyable and interesting as I can for the client. Then assist with serving lunch. More activities in the afternoon and again making sure that the client is getting as much benefit as they can from the challenge. Afternoon tea is provided and then transport the client to their home again. Since working here I have learned more ways of assisting elderly people with challenging themselves while making new friends and making sure that they are participating and gaining as much knowledge as the can. Assisting the other staff in their activities has encouraged me to learn new ways to conduct activities and work within a team environment. I enjoy this position as I can see the enjoyment that the client gets from attending the social club and how it helps them to become more social and make new friends.

Go on outings with clients to various venues and see different places.

Cons

Can be challenging when dealing with clients with dementia.
