Progressing from Returns Co-Ordinator to Warehouse Storeperson, responsibilities involved monitoring the receiving process of furniture ensuring that all functions are completed in a timely manner; monitor, maintain and update stock locations, rotation and serviceability; ensure warehouse maintenance meets the required level; maintain benchmarks set for the company; produce and action all necessary warehouse functional reports; supervise and train warehouse staff; to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those within the work areas under their control; ensuring the provision of OH&S information, training and supervision; undertaking risk assessments and ensuring the application of appropriate risk control measures; reporting and follow-up of hazards and incidents/accidents; to provide, monitor and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risk; to ensure that all employees are trained on the equipment and systems involved within their role; perform any other duties as delegated by the Warehouse manager; understand and promote the company vision; participate in company events; convey a professional, helpful and businesslike image to all persons I deal with on behalf of Corporate Express.

They don't care

Doesn't give a stuffp about staff if your in the warehouse there is no advancing opps and people in the office look down on you while they sit there doing nothing but play games on their computers as well as with the warehouse staff

Amazing Place to work to learn & grow

My role started with this company as a customer service phone operator that ended at the Qld Business Products Sales Manager. I had many roles and opportunities to grow and learn while at this company I believe this company gave me the foundation, and drive to go onto the future I have been able to build myself with being an entrepreneur

Great easy going work place with great management to work for. Rewarding experience to work there with the option to work your way up the corporate ladder.

Great Company

However the section managers wasn't that great It had a great work culture though The staff development needed a lot of work, I felt that they needed to help develop and promote staff on their work merit

Job Security

Was a good place to work with having a secure job with holidays and sick pay. Given training when required and free lunch and drinks.

It's hard work , lots of over time

lots of movement from day shift to afternoon shift Replacement CE goods inwards receiving put away replenishment tasks Have good relationship with management and colleagues I have to walk 8 hours plus over time talking to the microphone as computer system Voice picking

great kitchen facilities

I enjoyed working for this company but unfortunatly redudency cost me my job. I worked for this company for 5 years

new building, great air condioning, and a great team atmosphere.

Cons

travel distance in peak hour traffic.
