Rather stressful

A rather stressful job, you’re kept on your toes every minute and it feels a bit impersonal and unprepared/as if you’re being talked down to sometimes. Often had to work overtime and through breaks. Management has slightly improved. Coworkers are friendly enough however don’t highly reccomend.

Avoid at all costs.

The only good thing about working here is your fellow crew members. Head Office don't care about workers, only offer PT contracts to selected people and if you're a casual you can say goodbye to hours because they can't "afford to pay labor costs", yet they can open up so many new stores. Worst place.

fun environment

fun place to work at and make friends, especially good for students looking for casual work. Good pay and benefits. Great management and staff members.

Fast paced environment in a cramped workplace with poor management and culture

I worked here at the very first store when it was less than a year old. It’s a family run business but in my experience it was quite unprofessional. Management play favourites with staff and it’s very obvious. Staff are micromanaged, there are not many opportunities for training and development and the culture is poor. Staff are not allowed to casually talk while working, even when there are no customers. The only positive side to my experience was the shifts were quite flexible for staff and they were understanding of other study commitments.

Not the worst job

Most staff are friendly and helpful but management sometimes doesn't seem to know what it's actually like to work at the stores. Should have more than one person working at all times, especially for opening/closing shifts.
