Avoid Risk Advisory -Nightmare

Great global Brand, Majority of people are intelligent, hardworking and honest. Great clients and exposure to a wide array of markets. Good starting point for your career. Options available to travel and work for Deloitte in other countries (like any big 4). You will learn lots and lots via practical application (even though you don't know what your doing).
Poor pay, some long hours. Partnership lacks integrity -bulling, exclusion and misinformation appears to be common. Don't expect Partners to have your back, they will throw staff under the bus at the first sign of trouble. The exec leadership lack interpersonal skills and are generally aggressive and unpleasant to deal with. No real (formal qualification) training like other Deloitte firms provide. Lots and lots of stick and little to no carrot. -Significantly Below Expectations.
The Partnership need to buck up there ideas. Staff are leaving in droves - the majority with negative feelings towards the company. Your staff are your life blood, treat them with respect. Worth considering scrapping Risk and absorbing into consulting. Remove the partners who contribute little and just surf other's coat tails (you know who they are). Your brand is not viewed positively in the Australian market - do something about it you can not continue to depend on the old Deloitte brand to carry you -people talk and it's not pretty.
