Healthy work, life Balance
Very healthy work life balance. No micro management.A bit hard to get a job in higher levels especially if you are not working already in the government (cause there are not many positions available).Pay is lower than industry but you will get some extra leave/work less hours

Disappointing
Management had no clue. Zero conviction and constantly butting heads in front of staff. Poor look. Recruitment is massively flawed and it makes the public service look like an utter joke.

Stressful if you have no worker's compensation experience and or experience with computer experience but there is plenty of support.
Stressful. I work for the Business line that deals with Worker's Compensation. if you have no worker's compensation experience, it will take a little while to get used the policies and procedures and computer systems. But heaps of support.

Its great to have worked in DCS due to the work place etiquette, employee friendly work atmosphere. There is also a lot of scope to learn new technology landscape which can assist in career progression
