A fantastic company to work for!
Project Support Officer (Former Employee) - Melbourne City Centre VIC - 7 October 2021
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedA fantastic company to work for. Wage, culture and management from my experience was 10/10. Training supported. Great work life balance. Free travel depending on what area in DoT you are working for. Great people.
Pros
Wage, work life balance, progression encouraged, felt heard.
Cons
I seriously don’t have any. A great company.

Micro Managed and Overworked
Recruitment Officer (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 1 May 2023
Unrealistically high workload, extremely high staff turnover (60+ in a small team in 1 year period I worked there) and micro management from uncaring Execs. Total lack of communication across departments.

Very efficient and productive workplace.
Clerical Assistant (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 25 September 2020
It was a very friendly workplace with lots of work satisfaction. The flexible hours of work were also very convenient for a mother to work and also have time for her kids. Was very satisfied with the work I was given and enjoyed working there with the other employees.
Pros
Loved the lunches and the cafeteria
Cons
Had to be to work on time and make up flexi time also.

Good place to work
Incident & Change Coordinator (Current Employee) - Melbourne City Centre VIC - 2 December 2019
Grateful for the opportunity being given. Loads to learn on how to grow as a team and individual however overall a good place to work.
New structure is in place so not sure how it will work out but so far love the place.

Meet a lot of friendly faces, can be very busy
School Crossing Supervisor (Current Employee) - Eagleby QLD - 20 October 2019
Rewarding experience, a joy to see happy little faces, feeling of part of the community, able to go to other school's in your surrounding area learning about other people, helping them. Showing them respect, politeness, always show them a happy face never a grumpy one, talk to someone the way you want them to treat and speak to you. Weather can get quite hot wear comfortable and neat clothing wear enclosed shoes, wear sunglasses rain or shine for not only for sun but also for safety from debris from cars and wind.
Pros
Friendly and rewarding environment
Cons
Nasty motorists, not taking notice of speed

Fast paced but hugely interesting and varied work
Driver suitability services representative (Former Employee) - Western Australia - 20 July 2017
This was a fantastic experience to get to work in such a diverse area, however very fast paced and a lot of self belief was required.
Very committed team of management who encouraged you to push yourself but always with their constant support.
Pros
fantastic team environment
Cons
Probably the location as public transport was limited

Have never worked for them
Communications Technician (Former Employee) - Port Hedland WA Australia - 11 June 2017
Have had to do project work though third party companies and not very often. I wouldn't mind working for a government department though as support is always guaranteed when in unfamiliar roles.
