Discovery Parks
Discovery Parks Employee Review
Fair till convenience
Housekeeping (Current Employee) - Queensland - 9 August 2023
To be honest what I ve seen and lived in the camp where I first worked for discovery parks I hope is just an exception. I never been working in so hostile environment and very hard to approach. I ve been working under my ethics and I ve been treated with no sense of justice. Still wish to approach the top head office to have a formal talk with them that might help to improve quality ,performance and company values.
Pros
Is a great company to start remote expirience
Cons
Is hard keep working for long time.

Hard work
Housekeeper (Former Employee) - Emerald Beach NSW - 18 June 2022
Very hard work but will keep you fit without needing a gym membership. Customers are great and the location was beautiful right on the beach. Interview process was very easy the paperwork from the HR Dept is what takes the longest to get that done then you can work. Holidays is the busiest times of course and trying to get cabins complete in time would never work unless alot of staff was employed if there isn’t you are on your own to get the job complete as fast as you can.
Pros
Hard work
Cons
Great customers

Do not work at this place
Housekeeping (Former Employee) - Townsville QLD - 14 September 2021
Townsville Discovery parks is the world’s worst place to work . Bad behaviour is encouraged by management. Bullying and harassment is so bad . The mangers wife and old receptionist run the whole place . It is pure corruption and when reported to HR department they cover things up and protect management. Stay well away from this place for your own mental health and safety. You are given no breaks even when you work 8 hrs or more . Whole place dodgy .
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Long hours no breaks and no correct wages
