You will but don't expect to get off lightly.
It's a strict time-based job with expectations to know the addresses at the drop of a hat.
You are tracked wherever you go so I would expect management to phone you when they realise where you are within that hour in the wrong direction.
In my experience, someone was fired because this happened a couple of times and the manager wasn't happy about it. To be fair, this guy also had a really bad attitude and gave no reason as to why it took so long. Definitely will affect your relationship with your manager and your coworkers if it happens more than once
Yes you will still get paid, but obviously you would get a written warning or something along those lines and if it's a common occurrence you may be fired.
If you were to get lost while delivering pizzas the best thing to do it call the store and explain you can't find the address and ask what they think is the best option. also if you did get lose you're best to call the customer and say how would I get to your house from this street or google maps.
Yes, but you will also miss alot of other deliveries and probablly get a word from the boss
Yes, especially if you are a new driver, it happens. It may affect you socially though.
Fortunately this has never happened to me, I am a very capable GPS reader and confident rider. I understand that i would be paid if this happened but my work may be reviewed.
Yes because you still clocked in
You get paid per delivery you do, so no you don't get paid on time. its best to do it quickly so you can get to the next delivery before another staff member takes it
Yes I would but I didn't have my license at the time so I was in store
