DoorDash
DoorDash Employee Review
Poor pay , no support, no training
Dasher (Former Employee) - Brisbane South QLD - 15 September 2023
The paid is pretty poor for the amount of km you do with your own car, plus getting tax 20% of your earning ! they often send you to big shopping center with very little indication where to park hence you have to walk long distance and waisting time in car park. I quickly stop working for them! Unless you willing to work worst hours such as late at night, weekend, public holiday or very early in the morning on the weekend! Cherry on top of the cake, support service is incompetent, I asked their abn number and address for tax purpose and the best answer I got was we are unable to help you for your tax! Meanwhile those information are public . Pretty terrible company. I blame people who have to relie on this company to make a living !
Pros
Flexible hour
Cons
Poor pay. No support, no transparent

Food Delivery driver: very less payment
Food Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 4 February 2023
As mentioned online, if you work in peak Hours, you will not make same amount. They are paying very less payment compared to others companies. Also, you have to drive back to hotspot zone to get delivered chances more, but not 100% surety. Only 70% of the pay you will make it as your salary, which will be around 10 to 15 dollars per hours.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
A lot

Flexible job but low pay
Dasher- food delivery driver (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 9 December 2022
Mostly flexible, however Doordash you can only really dash in peak periods such as breakfast, lunch & dinner time. The pay to me is not worth it. Most of the time gets wasted waiting at the store for them to finish making the order. Also fuel is expensive & you have to put that into consideration. Alot of the jobs are around the $5 or $7 mark its hardly worth it.
Pros
Semi flexible
Cons
Very low paying
