It’s a great place to begin your growth
Site Operation Associate (Former Employee) –  Wayne, PA26 March 2019
With this company it’s about finding the right department that fits your goals. There will always be issues anywhere you go but I would never say don’t give DrugDev the opportunity. You work with incredible team members and the advancement is there.

Over all working experience at DD was very good
Sr. Financial Analyst (Former Employee) –  King of Prussia, PA23 July 2018
my days were very busy with reporting and SPO auditing of Client and company accounts. I worked independently, presenting reports to the executive level at the end of months and resolving any issues by taking ownership daily basis. Over all working experience at DD was very good

Run away
SR. PROGRAM MANAGER/AGILE COACH (Current Employee) –  Boston, MA23 May 2018
Sr. Mgt is leaving at an astounding rate. 7 of the top people have quit in the last month. The good people are heading out the door.

Stay away. The benefits are OK, but what is left of Mgt is really bad.
Pros
Work from home one day
Cons
Too many to list

Good place to work, not sure if it stay that way.
Senior QA Engineer (Current Employee) –  Boston, MA21 February 2018
The company was recently purchased by QuintileNT and changes are coming. Usually this means that management will have to deal with a corporate influence from now a new owner. This usually causes disruptions in the company goals, work culture, relationships among departments. Reorganizations, management leaving and possible workforce reductions, outsourcing to India, nervous employees, reduction of perks like Friday free lunch.
After a year there may be a move to do a major overhaul of the initial system and that will bring more people in but also squeeze out original specialists who want to continue their path. The usual chain of changes that can easily destroy a seemingly good company.
Pros
Free lunch, games, friendly people.
Cons
Big corp bought it and slowly changes the culture.

Company is kind of Chaotic
Customer Support Specialist (Former Employee) –  Wayne, PA5 November 2017
The managers were unprofessional and talked about their employees in earshot of other employees. Many had never had management experience and it showed. They didn't know how to manage the work and blamed it on the employees. I enjoyed speaking to the clients and assisting them with the issues they faced. But I didn't enjoy how the managers were afraid to enforce the rules to get the clients what they deserved.
Pros
Close to home. Work from home sometimes as well was allowed.
Cons
Bad management

Product Development Team
Software Development Team (Former Employee) –  Boston, MA25 September 2017
Having worked in many software development teams across the greater Boston area things are pretty typical here - teams are collocated into smaller "pods" and use Agile practices. Product development team is overall a fine team. Leadership across the company is not very transparent and communication from management is lacking. Good place to come in, do your job, and have decent work/life balance.
Pros
Nice office, free lunch on Fridays, nice co-workers
Cons
Poor communication across the company

Great work environment and co workers
Content Engineer (Former Employee) –  Frederick, MD2 June 2017
Great company to work for! I would recommend the Fredrick office to everyone. Co workers were all very helpful and caring. Everyone works hard and most importantly works as a team.

I learned a lot from my time working in the Fredrick office. Gained a lot of knowledge on computer programming and html coding. Skills that I had previously, i.e attention to detail, fast learner, were tested and ultimately increased.

Great company, even better employees!

Great place to work. They're very supportive of their employees and make you feel valued. The work can be tedious but the work culture makes up for it.

Fun start-up with admirable aims, let down by senior management
Project Associate (Former Employee) –  London7 August 2016
DrugDev was founded with the aim to reduce pharmaceutical trial lead times and therefore reduce costs and lower end-user prices.

The company is relatively new and on a small scale so there is limited room for progression within the business. Working practices are flexible and the atmosphere in the London office is fun and reasonably relaxed.

The company is, unfortunately, let down by severe cronyism and a lack of proper direction amongst the senior management.

Summary
Grant Payment Coordinator (Former Employee) –  King of Prussia, PA6 April 2016
My typical day at work consists of responding to emails from the sites and sponsors, setting up contracts and making payments. I learned the full process and completion of clinical trails. Management is alright, you can always go to them with any questions, but there is a lack of communication that raises some concerns. My coworkers are reliable and assist with the completion of many tasks. The hardest part of the job is being able to multitask in a timely manner, as some deadlines seem unrealistic. The best part of my job is knowing that these trails are helping so many people.
Pros
Free lunches, Friendly atmosphere
Cons
Lack of communication between management

Great place to work. Management is helping its employees on every level possible. A day at the office is challenging but the benefits are on the same level. Satisfactory.

I enjoy my time at DrugDev
Grant Payment Leader (Current Employee) –  Wayne, PA27 November 2015
DrugDev has a great environment to work in. The people are very nice and the work load is decent. You will always have work to do, but there are so many people there that will support you. The pay is exceptional. DrugDev is going through a change right now that I think will be a huge step in the right direction.
Pros
Overtime for hourly workers, lenient work hours
Cons
Pay could be higher
