Good vibes, collaborative team work and friendly colleagues. DXC Technology was an amazing experience for me. I had the opportunity to travel to Melbourne for a week and work collaboratively with a team on an important Bid. Though, the hours were long when deadlines were due, I loved working for DXC as a Graphic Designer. They absolutely support growing your skills and career.
Pros
Free fruit and table tennis
Cons
Sometimes long hours

Ignorant people with no people skills. Especially those that are involved with government clientele. Constantly treating you like they're better than you. And very disrespectful to any contractors in Adelaide.

The best part of the job was the people I worked with and/or interacted with. It had great flexibility with start and finish times. I had job variety which made it interesting.

Was Formally as CSC which at the time was a great company to work for and greart staff which made working for CSC great.

As for DXC this has changed and the environment could still be the same but not sure.

High acquisition and groupism inside DXC which is not recommended for anyone. Work life balance is unavailable. There is not much recognition even if there is client appreciation. Highly politics

My experience at this company was a stressful one. They are constantly working on waves of redundancy with the aim of moving most positions to low cost locations (China, India etc.)
Pros
Work from home capability (with management approval)
Cons
Long hours without additional remuneration

Good company to work for.
People are in general very friendly and supportive.

Internal training available on DXC's University are fantastic.

Work life balance is great, so no long hours or work over the weekends in most of the cases.

Absolutely not a good place to work due to a competitive, toxic culture which is focused internally with little empathy for the needs of the end customer.

simple data entry job with the company. I only had a temporary position as a summer intern from my university, but if I had wanted to continue in the company after my course, this internship would have opened the doors to get me involved. the environment was good, the people were friendly, and the boss was not overbearing.

Not sure how the culture has changed. But when it was hp, it had a good culture, fewer politics, and mostly flat hierarchy. Managers are easily reachable
Pros
Flexible Hours
Cons
Now it is DXC

Average company and culture. Somewhat disconnect between upper management and its employees. Interests of its clients are not always aligned with their overall objectives.

DXC Technology is a place where when you get in, your career has taken a major step forward but it'll take you a very long time to advance through the ranks. DXC is good as a stepping stone towards your goals. Good there to gain experience but not for advancing to a higher calling.
Pros
Nice People to work with and Free Breakfast
Cons
Hard to advance within the company

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at DXC Technology, in an industry of constant change the focus is always on client satisfaction but owing to downsizing and offshoring certain elements of their workflow my time at this wonderful company comes to a close.

I am now looking for new adventures but with the same enthusiasm to deliver superior service to clients and customers
Pros
Diverse and friendly workplace

A good place to gain experience, it may not be a big name, but it is a global player. Consider it a place to gain specific experience - don't expect support, don't expect development and don't expect longevity,

The global mission is basically the old "shareholder value is all" sweat and dump game.

The merger of CSC, UXC, Fruition, and HPES is still more in name than fact and the complete lack of integration of companies, systems or processes has made a jumbled mess to navigate or be productive within.

There are some really good staff with great skills in this company ... a few teams have a great bond and are more family than colleagues. However, mostly it seems that staff are either trapped or lured in by obfuscation, omission and outright lies.

Likewise, some really good local managers exist, but they are effectively drowned out by the global executive attitude towards staff and the drive for ever increasing and unrealistic metrics.

There is a nervous and toxic culture based on a mix of police state policies, cuts in benefits, no pay raises (they were disconnected from the annual appraisal system and if given - have rarely provided any increases [under 4%] over the last five years) and on top of all of that, there is the continuous threat of restructuring, divestitures and redundancies which means most staff spend far more time waiting or volunteering for the axe to fall upon their necks. Why would anyone try to be creative or offer any supplementary effort? It is the common consensus that staff are effectively tolerated as a cost to be shed as soon

Pros
Interesting projects, Good colleagues, If willing - you can volunteer for global domain initiatives, Good networking opportunities
Cons
Archaic and restrictive policies, No recognition of loyalty, Low market rates, Staff seen as disposable commodities, Continuous restructures and redundancies
