Exploits grads
Technical Consultant (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 23 November 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe people you work with are great and love how you can work from home. Culture is alright, however there are no more extras such as free breakfast, massages, Friday drinks etc anymore. The company doesn't fund any special events except for EOY celebrations. Grads are always leaving as due to difficulty getting a pay rise

Great work environment.
Service Desk Analyst (Former Employee) - Hobart, TAS - 3 July 2023
I worked at DXC for about 6-7 months and I really enjoyed my time there for the most part. Starting off it was great to be in an office environment and getting to spend time with colleagues but after working from home the job lost its charm a bit. Managers were helpful and friendly when they could be reached but the company we were contracted to could definitely stand to put more resources into the infrastructure for their employees to be able to do their jobs efficiently and effectively.

Burn out common
Technology Consultant (Former Employee) - Melbourne - 30 June 2023
The expectations are that you will give 150% at all times this leads to management and staff burnout. The management level has become toxic with the consultants being blamed for being unable to deliver unrealistic results with minimum or substandard resources.
Pros
Big name looks good on CV
Cons
Toxic culture

Stressful
Case Manager (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 23 November 2022
Work load unsustainable. Case managing plus back to back calls all day everyday. Mentally and emotionally exhausted by the end of the day. People are great though.

Do not waste your time here
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 7 November 2022
Extremely disorganized company with a somewhat toxic work environment. I found it hard to get anything done without dealing with outdated systems and a lot of red tape. Also asking for help with anyone internally was painful. Perhaps other projects might be better to work on but mine not a good place to be. Glad to get out of there.

Great people and lots of opportunities to learn and grow
Release Manager (Current Employee) - Adelaide Region SA - 14 September 2022
Good place to work at when you're getting started. Great people, great projects. Hard to climb up the corporate ladder but overall good salary, good work and you learn a lot!

Unachievable workload, poor feedback
Claims (Current Employee) - Docklands VIC - 5 September 2022
Disappointed at the high workloads and inconsistent approach to expectations and advancement. Little regard given to your well-being, mostly limited to lip service. Don’t expect fair treatment- different rules apply to different people. Management tells you that they don’t expect you to work beyond your contracted hours but they give you so much work to do that there is no choice. If you don’t put in extra hours you won’t get through the work and you will be told that you are underperforming.
Pros
Remote work
Cons
Long hours, too much work. Can be demoralising.

Horrible US big-IT corporate culture
Systems Architect (Former Employee) - australia - 3 July 2022
Once you're hired don't expect any management stewardship or support. All DXC is interested in is revenues and cutting costs. Management are infighting all the time. Office politics are out of control.

Points that do not meet expectations, as it is a multinational company
Document Preparation Representative (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 20 May 2022
Points that do not meet expectations, as it is a multinational company : internal process management, people management, salary/benefits can be reviewed, communication between leaders and staff, training.

Jobs at DXC Technology
Relaxed work place, but no way of progressing or salary increments
Senior Data Scientist (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 6 April 2022
Relaxed if you client is good. But to get a salary hike you need an offer from another job so they match. Technical work not getting appreciation as delivery leads and managers score off your work. No team events.
Pros
Work life balance
Cons
No career progress or salary increments

Great place to work and grow
Senior System Engineer (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 15 March 2022
A great place to work and grow as an engineer. However, some of their engineering and management processes need to be improved. My manager was excellent and I had an excellent mentor.

No way to progress to other parts of the business, they'd rather external appointments than hire internally
Claims (Current Employee) - Docklands VIC - 3 February 2022
job is very stressful, you have to meet targets that is way beyond your capability. This workplace is horrible. Team managers are okay but the work is so demanding and you will not meet your targets
Pros
Friday afternoon drinks
Cons
too much workload and expectations

Good place to work, good clients and good teammates.
Consultant (Current Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 3 February 2022
Overall, a good place to learn your craft. You do have to push a bit to get things you want (eg: more projects etc.). Not much of a work culture (that may be a pro or a con, depending on who you are).

Exemplary workplace culture with management acknowledgement of personal / work related achievements
Snr Associate Administration (Former Employee) - Docklands VIC - 30 June 2021
A typical day at work consisted of working with a fast paced energetic Marketing and CTO team. Friendly, interpersonal, which provided a great deal of satisfaction at end of working week, with personal achievement. Company culture, absolutely amazing, Senior Leaders providing weekly progress and updates which kept all staff in the loop. During COVID, DXC has always ensured that staff are kept safe with fantastic working from home options. 26 years of achievements, success and friendships
Pros
Company Culture
Cons
none

Didn't feel as part of DXC as worked onsite for client
Associate Desktop Support Engineer (Former Employee) - Docklands VIC - 31 December 2020
Due to the lack of leadership from my immediate management I didn't feel part of the DXC Australia group. There was also a lack of staff stability across the client site I was located at.

Not a happy place
Senior Project Manager - Red Rock Project Consulting Team (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 27 October 2020
Poor leadership and blame culture hampers a company with a good written vision that isn’t followed through. Sales team not helpful when negotiating projects. Promising undeliverable objectives. Blame culture exists with little to no leadership support.
Pros
Breakfast on site
Cons
No leadership / blame culture

Dead end
Delivery (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 31 August 2020
DXC lacks any real leadership. Instead offering "empowerment", which in effect means look after yourself. Salary will go backwards in real terms and no salary reviews offered. Redundancies are a constant risk with no correlational to performance or workload, just a number game.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
no salary increases, plenty of management talk

An excellent work place with friendly co-workers
Graphic Designer (Former Employee) - Macquarie Park NSW - 16 June 2020
Good vibes, collaborative team work and friendly colleagues. DXC Technology was an amazing experience for me. I had the opportunity to travel to Melbourne for a week and work collaboratively with a team on an important Bid. Though, the hours were long when deadlines were due, I loved working for DXC as a Graphic Designer. They absolutely support growing your skills and career.
Pros
Free fruit and table tennis
Cons
Sometimes long hours

Ignorance
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Felixstow SA - 30 May 2020
Ignorant people with no people skills. Especially those that are involved with government clientele. Constantly treating you like they're better than you. And very disrespectful to any contractors in Adelaide.

Not much fun work environment. There is favoritism.
Tchnology consultant III (Former Employee) - Eton Centris and Mckinley Hills - 5 April 2020
The manager who hired me has poor managerial skills. He practiced favoritism and was not supportive to resources who were not in his list of favorite resources.
