Great people and lots of opportunities to learn and grow
Release Manager (Current Employee) - Adelaide Region SA - 14 September 2022
Good place to work at when you're getting started. Great people, great projects. Hard to climb up the corporate ladder but overall good salary, good work and you learn a lot!

Relaxed work place, but no way of progressing or salary increments
Senior Data Scientist (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 6 April 2022
Relaxed if you client is good. But to get a salary hike you need an offer from another job so they match. Technical work not getting appreciation as delivery leads and managers score off your work. No team events.
Pros
Work life balance
Cons
No career progress or salary increments

Constant workforce reduction
Team Enablement Manager (Former Employee) - Macquarie Park NSW - 17 January 2020
My experience at this company was a stressful one. They are constantly working on waves of redundancy with the aim of moving most positions to low cost locations (China, India etc.)
Pros
Work from home capability (with management approval)
Cons
Long hours without additional remuneration

No pay raise
Technical Managed Services Consultant (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 20 October 2018
No pay raise even rating 1 in performance appraisal. No room to move up. The senior executive management not care low level employees. Junior management just follow direction of senior management, even they know it is not correct.
Pros
Good colleagues
Cons
No pay raise

Consider carefully
Manager (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 9 July 2018
A good place to gain experience, it may not be a big name, but it is a global player. Consider it a place to gain specific experience - don't expect support, don't expect development and don't expect longevity,
The global mission is basically the old "shareholder value is all" sweat and dump game.
The merger of CSC, UXC, Fruition, and HPES is still more in name than fact and the complete lack of integration of companies, systems or processes has made a jumbled mess to navigate or be productive within.
There are some really good staff with great skills in this company ... a few teams have a great bond and are more family than colleagues. However, mostly it seems that staff are either trapped or lured in by obfuscation, omission and outright lies.
Likewise, some really good local managers exist, but they are effectively drowned out by the global executive attitude towards staff and the drive for ever increasing and unrealistic metrics.
There is a nervous and toxic culture based on a mix of police state policies, cuts in benefits, no pay raises (they were disconnected from the annual appraisal system and if given - have rarely provided any increases [under 4%] over the last five years) and on top of all of that, there is the continuous threat of restructuring, divestitures and redundancies which means most staff spend far more time waiting or volunteering for the axe to fall upon their necks. Why would anyone try to be creative or offer any supplementary effort? It is the common consensus that staff are effectively tolerated as a cost to be shed as soon -
Pros
Interesting projects, Good colleagues, If willing - you can volunteer for global domain initiatives, Good networking opportunities
Cons
Archaic and restrictive policies, No recognition of loyalty, Low market rates, Staff seen as disposable commodities, Continuous restructures and redundancies

The worst of CSC and HPE
Sales (Current Employee) - Australia - 25 August 2017
Archaic policies and procedures
Typical large corporation of putting everything off-shore and not giving a stuff about service
Management is paid too much with no salary increases for regular employees.
The integration between the amalgamation of companies has made this a jumbled mess of a company.
I'd recommend avoiding unless you like working long hours in a frustrating environment and not being compensated fairly.
