Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Manager in DXC Technology

Consider carefully

A good place to gain experience, it may not be a big name, but it is a global player. Consider it a place to gain specific experience - don't expect support, don't expect development and don't expect longevity, The global mission is basically the old "shareholder value is all" sweat and dump game. The merger of CSC, UXC, Fruition, and HPES is still more in name than fact and the complete lack of integration of companies, systems or processes has made a jumbled mess to navigate or be productive within. There are some really good staff with great skills in this company ... a few teams have a great bond and are more family than colleagues. However, mostly it seems that staff are either trapped or lured in by obfuscation, omission and outright lies. Likewise, some really good local managers exist, but they are effectively drowned out by the global executive attitude towards staff and the drive for ever increasing and unrealistic metrics. There is a nervous and toxic culture based on a mix of police state policies, cuts in benefits, no pay raises (they were disconnected from the annual appraisal system and if given - have rarely provided any increases [under 4%] over the last five years) and on top of all of that, there is the continuous threat of restructuring, divestitures and redundancies which means most staff spend far more time waiting or volunteering for the axe to fall upon their necks. Why would anyone try to be creative or offer any supplementary effort? It is the common consensus that staff are effectively tolerated as a cost to be shed as soon -

Pros

Interesting projects, Good colleagues, If willing - you can volunteer for global domain initiatives, Good networking opportunities

Cons

Archaic and restrictive policies, No recognition of loyalty, Low market rates, Staff seen as disposable commodities, Continuous restructures and redundancies

Complex and conservative

A global IT service company that has grown through acquisition and sometimes struggles with its own culture. Work is competitive and working hard is not always a guarantee of personal growth success. You will get to learn a lot of skills and apply your knowledge and skills if you are willing to find the roles and assignments that are more interesting.

Pros

Good benefits package

Cons

middle management navel gazing and job protection

Fun Place to work, no targets not much work pressure

Fun place to work but the only dis-advantage comes with the salary when we keep on asking but doesn't get and also no shift allowances and no much financial benefits in the company but when compared to the work and also the culture that's gonna get a 5 star.

Pros

Good work culture

Cons

No extra allowances provided
