Bullying and harassment by management is an everyday occurrence in this depot. Avoid working here. Work 12 hours a day and then expected to work weekends.

Worst company to work for ever!

They promote they treat staff with care and result - far from it!Dodgy HR department that do not follow processes ever. Rude arrogant Directors and disgruntled CEO - had to leave as I could not handle working there - the environment and workplace culture was toxic!

Dysons is a family business and maintains that culture as much as it can despite its growth over the years. Covid has impacted its cultural performance a bit, but can see they're trying to get it back. One of the better businesses I've worked for.

Pros

Relatively horizontal management, Anyone can talk to anyone, Open door policies and inclusive environment. Friendly, down-to-earth family.

Cons

Lack of structure around jobs and accountabilities, Performance monitoring and review non-existent.

Dyson's are a family based company and are very easy to work for ,all care is taken to look after and suit your needs, they are very flexible with shifts and can work in to family duties with you I enjoyed working with them

A peaceful and collaborative environment to work for.Helpful staff. People wanting to work long hours they can choose to so. Those who desire to work lesser hours also can choose their hours. Staff are well looked after and provided with basics like uniform, bag, etc

Holds annual picnics, school closing lunches, board tables, place to relax

Long hours is an issue but is compensated economically

Great place to work

Spent 14 years working at Dysons loved working every day I was there. had ample opportunities big verity of driving from route services to charter daytours V-Line camps & operations supervisor doing my own charter hire plus rail & tram replacements, the working conditions were beyond & above was always looked after also plenty of overtime was available to do as you wanted. Management was easy to talk too very much approachable at any time about any issues you had. Unfortunately due to a work injury I was laid of work under the work cover act, it broke my ( Heart ) which I can't get over because I really loved my Job as a Bus Diver / Supervisor at this great company plus still believe they could have helped me out in keeping me there but that's something am working on.

Compony used to put on B B Q 's at end of every school term

Cons

Plenty of Overtime plus change of rosters that suited most

good place to work clean and tidy. Ive learned to be patient . co workers are a great bunch of people. time table could be adjusted. the best part is when you have finished your shift, you get to play some pool.
