Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Behavioral Therapist in Early Autism Services

Dont work here

You never become full-time, and the bcba's will tell you that they are there but barely show up to supervision. The place here is so unorganized the only good thing is that the company provides milage reimbursement.

Pros

Milage reinbursement

Cons

No breaks

Poor management, rewarding work, and lots of driving

If you can get more than 20 hours you will spend a good 10 hours a week driving alone. Limited room for advancement unless you plan on a masters. Even than they require bcbas to do free work. Management gives no incentive to workers which leads to burned out employees. Higher pay is offset by gas money, no holidays, poor management, lack of hours, lack of hours, and high turn over. Overall the culture used to be better, sadly corporate greed has led to a reduction in quality of care for the kiddos.

No appreciation for the therapists

When I first got hired I was under the impression that I would start off part time but would soon go to full time (40 hours). I NEVER got 40 hours during my time with CEAS. When a family would cancel or a child was sick I was not compensated for those lost hours. I was expected to make up my hours on my own time(by working weekends). What company makes you work on your own time just to make up the hours that you should've been receiving in the first place?? No benefits or PTO. Felt no appreciation for my work. Even after I spoke with the CEO about the lack of benefits, nothing has changed. Overall, a very stressful experience. There are better ABA companies out there.

Pros

Working with the kids

Cons

No benefits, not enough hours, too much driving
