Fantastic Work Experience: A Supportive and Friendly Workplace

The most useful review selected by IndeedI had the opportunity to work at ECU, and it was truly an amazing experience. The staff members were incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The management team was also highly supportive, providing guidance and assistance whenever needed. The work environment was pleasant and conducive to productivity, fostering a positive culture within the organisation. Overall, I had a wonderful time working here and would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking a supportive and friendly workplace.

Good if you can ignore the dumb decision-making of management
Library Technician (Former Employee) - Joondalup - 2 May 2022
I had a lot of fun working at ECU. Most of the staff were great and dedicated to their jobs. Unfortunately there were a couple of negatives. The first was that for three years I was on revolving contracts, never knowing if I was going to be renewed until the last two weeks. Its a disgusting way to treat your loyal staff IMO. Secondly the management in my department seemed to make decisions without consulting their staff and if you point out the obvious flaws in their ideas they get offended. This was a few years ago now so maybe things have changed, but I doubt it.
Pros
Stimulating work environment, dedicated staff.
Cons
Management, lack of job security.

I have learned a lots when I worked at ECU. The teammates were friendly and ready to help when you need it the most. ECU has always provide the good balance between work and life. The pressure from work usually had been washed away by the staff meeting with fun talk, food and drink.
