EML Employee Review
Could do better
Senior Case Manager (Current Employee) - NSW - 10 April 2023
Would suggest salary is better than others in industry however be prepared to work long hours, while overtime is not requested or suggested outright to meet expectations it occurs. Portfolios are not balanced in numbers, maturity of claims or by merit of complexity, so you can often find you are on an uneven playing field in your team. Team size will also influence the level of support you have access to, a larger team has more peer support opportunity. Team Leaders do try to be as supportive as possible, however work load and meetings seem to be a barrier. There are support teams however they seem disconnected from the true demands of roles in a day to day practical sense. Systems are not reliable and do not meet the demands of the role for efficiency and compliance.
Pros
RDOs, if you can take them.
Cons
No genuine work life balance, burn out risk.

Same role
Good colleagues to work with, however poor opportunities to career advance
Senior Case Manager (Former Employee) - Sydney, NSW, AU - 5 December 2018
Busy work day from start to finish, however not very well supported by management. I felt the management had poor people management skills regarding their own staff, and failed to provide career advancement opportunities for all staff, often only supporting those that were within a special group the management favoured instead of individual qualities.
Staff were easy to build rapport with, and support amongst your peers was positive.
Pros
Salary
Cons
Expected targets for outgoing calls

Unsupportive management and fake culture
Case Manager (Current Employee) - Chatswood NSW - 3 December 2023
Boasts a good workplace culture but is nothing but superficial niceties excluding a few individuals working within the company. Claims to care about employees but doesn't.
