Could have better compensation package, for example phone allowance or TIL (every venue manager is required to be on call to their clients or venue team but no company mobile is provided). No TIL logging system ( not that I'm aware of, never been advised).
However since we joined PSAV, internal training system has been drastically improved. Everyone has access to internal online training platform with courses on various technical and management trainings.
Pros
If you put your heart in you do get to learn a lot in a very short period of time (time management, basic AV knowledge, relationship management, logistics and budget management)
Cons
Unflexible vocation policy, mandatory leaves during shutdown period, medium-low compensation package (comparing to the workload and role responsibilities)

Age discrimination is normal, as is casual worker discrimination. Management is in name only. Essentially the organisation breaks OHS laws on a daily basis as the corporate clients' money speaks, as does Crown's (The Devil's Pit).
