F45 Great Company, Franchisees need better guidance.
Studio Manager and Personal Trainer (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 14 January 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI really enjoyed my time as Studio Manager at F45 Training, however I believe that Franchisees could have had better guidance and regulated performance workshops, to ensure that the management they were able to provide was suitable for the staff employed. I always felt supported from the top of the franchise, but not the franchise owner in between, who lacked understanding of the work I was required to do.
The culture, community and clients were amazing and I am very grateful for my experience there.

High energy culture
Studio Manager (Current Employee) - Gold Coast, QLD - 3 August 2023
If you love fitness and love to help people F45 is a fantastic place to start your health and fitness career. Depending on the studio you work for hours will vary but expect early mornings and some late evenings including weekend work. As it is a franchise there is a ceiling in terms of progression but it is a fantastic place to cut your teeth working in fitness.

Productive, fun, team member that enjoys working with people
Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor (Current Employee) - Spearwood WA - 4 December 2019
• I have worked for both large and small organisations throughout my career in both managerial and supportive roles. I consider myself a valuable team member who facilitates smooth day to day operations and contributes to a positive team culture and work environment.
• Almost all my past employment has required customer service and client relations at some level.
• All my positions as a fitness instructor have involved motivating and encouraging people from different social and cultural backgrounds. I have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate skills, which have abled me to be successful in this field.
• Most of the positions I have held to date involve being able to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a busy work environment.
Whilst in the British army I served in Northern Ireland and Sierra leone. During my time in Northern Ireland, I preformed policing duties in order to try and quickly resolve life threating conflict between two paramilitary groups. Daily, I needed to follow verbal instructions, as well as react and adapt quickly to my surroundings in order to maintain normality.

Fun, progressive, and motivating
Studio Trainer (Former Employee) - Perth, Western Australia - 22 June 2018
Quite the opposite of Bailey's Fitness, there is a level of motivation to work here as the hourly pay is good and most clients tend to be lovely people. Management culture is militaristic but that doesn't hinder progress nor work balance within the company. Hardest part is starting work at 5am and on busy days, ending up at 9pm. Still, meeting new people is fun and enjoyable.
Pros
Work-life balance, good salary, fun atmosphere
Cons
Dictatorial/military culture, certain unfriendly clients

Honest, hardworking and willing to learn
Data Entry (Current Employee) - Morningside QLD - 26 September 2016
I pride my self on my honesty, wearing my heart on my sleeve. I prompt in time and people management. I enjoy high paced environments. Most of my previous work experience has been high risk places.
