Colleagues are caring and inclusive

Working as a sessional member of the Academic Staff at Federation University is rewarding. I do most of my academic work online and this gives me the flexibility and a good work life balance.Support staff for any I. T. and on- line delivery issues are provided with good back up.Colleagues are helpful and inclusive.

Top-heavy workplace which does not value its staff.

Federation University is all about compliance and government funding, showing very little concern for the welfare and educational experience of the students. Staff are treated with little to no respect by management and 'jobs for the boys' is still prevalent in this workplace.

Productive

I am employed as a cleaner, I work mainly by myself occasionly with other helping out. There is some overtime, There is no hard part to the job I clean they mess it up I clean again the next day, I suppose monotony can be a bit boring but I like working on my own listening to my music while I sweep, mop, vacuum etc. The hardest part is getting up early in the morning to do the job.
